Ceramic Dispense Tip
Designed for Electronic and Semiconductor dispensing. Ideal for fluids such as Solder Paste, Silver filled adhesives, UV Resins, under fills, glob tops, and other materials. The advantages include: Very high quality and precision nozzle construction – particularly around the outlet port results in better quality and faster dispense. The conical design resulted in less clogging and lower pressure. The construction is zirconia (Ceramic) and is extremely resistant to wear and abrasions caused by filler in the fluids. The result is a life that can be 10X a stainless steel construction. Outlet port sizes down to 1 mil. The difference in the tip construction allows for a very affordable nozzle. Dispensing in close quarters may require thinner walls and semi blunt, precision and ultra precision options allow for expense to be spent only if required.

Where is the cost? It is in the mold, and this insures a perfect fluid path consistently, time after time. The inside tolerances control the quality of expense, the outside dimensions can be modified for clearance. If clearance is not a factor, the tip geometry can be left – as molded – producing excellent results at a low cost. As the outside size is reduced, machining expense and time increase and the costs go up. The finest tip produces the same dot as the blunt tip, but it does allow the nozzle opening to get very close to the edge of a die or other component.
Construction
The actual nozzle is zirconia. It resists wear and holds tolerances over long periods of continuous use. If your application is wearing out stainless steel in a few hours or days, this is the answer. If your current nozzle is opening up and dispensing more over time, this is the answer.
